What this actually looks like

The icebreaker that makes the whole room move.

Everyone joins on their phone and gets a number between 1 and 100. Nobody knows anyone else's yet. The only way to fill your card is to get up, walk over to someone, and ask. So the room does exactly that.

You collect four, five, six numbers depending on what the host set, tapping each one into your phone as you go. You can swap one out later if you change your mind. When you have a full list, you lock it in. Your card is saved, so a dropped signal or a closed tab never costs you your progress.

Then the host starts calling. A number flashes on the screen. Anyone holding it taps to mark it green. The room watches their own cards fill up, and the first person to complete theirs shouts the win. The host can stop there or keep calling to settle second and third.

The game itself

How Bingo actually plays.

How to play

  1. 1

Before starting, the host sets two things: how many numbers each player collects (3 to 5), and the marking mode (tap it yourself, or auto-mark)

  2. 2

Everyone gets their own number when the game starts (a few each in a small room)

  3. 3

Walk around and talk to people to collect their numbers, building your list on your phone. Only real numbers other players hold count, if you type one nobody has, it shows orange and won't count until you swap it

  4. 4

Fill your whole list (the host's target), then submit, you can still change it before calling starts

  5. 5

The host calls numbers one at a time. In tap mode you tap a called number that's on your list to mark it green; in auto mode it marks itself

  6. 6

Some called numbers belong to nobody, that's on purpose, to keep you guessing

๐Ÿ†

How to win

Be the first to get a FULL card, every number on your complete list called and marked. If you only collected a few, you can't complete a card that round. The host can stop at the first winner or keep calling to decide 2nd and 3rd place. If two people finish together, whoever marks first takes the higher spot.

What makes it work

  • ๐Ÿค The mingling is the game, you have to actually talk to people
  • ๐Ÿ“ฑ Build and edit your list on your own phone (it comes back if you reload)
  • ๐Ÿ“ฃ The host calls the numbers; tap your matches, or let them auto-mark
  • ๐ŸŽญ Decoy numbers nobody holds keep the tension up
  • ๐Ÿ† First full card wins, with a top-three podium
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ 2 to 100 players
Where Bingo shines

The same game. Different rooms. Same energy.

Scenario 01

Conference networking

Conference mixer

The networking hour that people actually work.

A conference opens with a mixer that usually means 200 people staring at their lanyards. This time the organiser runs Bingo. To fill their card, everyone has to introduce themselves to five strangers and swap numbers. Within ten minutes the room is a wall of conversation, and by the time the host starts calling, half the room already knows each other's names.

Scenario 02

Onboarding mixer

Company onboarding

New starters, meeting the whole floor by accident.

A cohort of new joiners is dropped into an office they have never seen. The People team runs Bingo across the whole floor. To collect their numbers, new starters have to go and talk to people at desks they would never have approached. The game ends with a winner, but the real result is that every new joiner has now spoken to a dozen people they will actually work with.

Scenario 03

Wedding icebreaker

Wedding reception

The bride's side, finally meeting the groom's side.

Two families who have never met are seated at opposite ends of a marquee. The MC runs Bingo before the speeches. Suddenly Aunt Linda is asking a groomsman for his number and the kids are sprinting between tables collecting theirs. By the time the calling starts, the two halves of the room have properly mixed for the first time all day.

How Bingo plays

One shared game, played across the whole room.

Everyone plays as an individual on their own phone. The mingling is the game, and the calling is the finish.

Mingle & Collect

The room fills its own cards.

Each player gets one number and a target to collect. The only way to hit it is to talk to other people and swap numbers, so the game turns a static room into a moving one. Lists are saved as players go, so nobody loses their progress.

Best for: mixers, onboarding, conferences, weddings, any moment where the goal is getting people who do not know each other to actually meet.

Host Calls

The host reveals numbers, the room reacts.

When everyone is ready, the host calls numbers one at a time, either picking them or letting Neegma choose the next one. Players tap their matches to mark them. The first full card wins, and the host decides whether to keep going for a podium.

Best for: a clean, dramatic finish that pulls the whole room's attention back to the screen.

Offline ยท Coming soon

Online only, for now.

Bingo is built around every player holding their own number and marking their own card, so for now it needs everyone on their phone. A shared-device format may follow, but the mingling that makes this game work really wants a device in every hand.

Get your room out of their chairs and talking.

Free to start. Everyone gets a number, the room does the rest.
